OLDIES BUT GOODIES

This is the day before I leave my hometown, Mojokerto, East Java. I feel sad to leave my family here. But I can do anything to stay here for longer. I have job to do in Manado. 

We can't do anything to skip the time too, right?

Like this dress, I bought on "Istana Cabo" , a place where you will find many second clothes. This blue navy polka dot retro dress was a treasure I found there. It is old..but I think it has it own story..it has its past. We have our own past too..and we can do anything to change our past. All we can do is make today to be better than the old day..so in the end we can create a better story for our life. 

Let's create memory. AWESOME and MEMORABLE memories!!

The Christmas 2013 Family Photo-Shoot!!

Like all of you guys out there, moments that I liked and looked forward from Christmas is a time when I can gather with my brother and family. And of course, the family photo shoot is my favorite moment. Every year my family always have a dress code for the photo shoot. When the time is coming, we'll take pictures with the variety of styles, from formal style to the crazy freestyle : D

ALL I WANT FOR CHRISTMAS ARE...

Welcoming 2013's CHRISTMAS!

For me, this is the best season of the year.

The time when I will meet my lovely family at home, arrange the Christmas tree, baking cakes with my mom and clean the house with the whole family's member.

My Christmas shopping this time it is practically fantastic-bombastic.

It could be said that I bought all the piercings that I think is cute, but still affordable. 

One time, when I walk in Ace Hardware, Manado Town Square, my choice falls to the shaped wooden horse toy Christmas tree ornament and also rudolph the red nose reindeer glasses. I think they looks so cute and unique. The other ornaments I bought is at a Christian bookstore Imannuel. Starting from red and white ribbons, socks and candy shaped- Christmas ornaments  up to two Christmas themed pillowcases. : D

After buying all this ornaments, I became increasingly impatient to come back home to Mojokerto, put a whole new Christmas tree ornaments on our new Christmas tree.. 

Lastly, the theme of family photos at Christmas 2013 is a red batik.

Okay. Red batik search has begun. One day, I was hanging around in the IT Center Manado, and suddenly seeing visions of a cute red mini dress this. The dress is actually not a pure-batik, but it has a motif that resembles batik.  Agree?

To complete the looks, I chose the golden flat shoes from The Little Thing She Needs. : )

I can't wait to wear them on the Christmas day on December 2013! I think it will be so cute..

FAMILY ADVENTURE!! - WHITE SAND BEACH, TRENGGALEK

due to my busy busy schedule, then on weekdays, Monday to Friday, it is almost impossible for me to do a photo shoot and post to this blog.
on this occasion, at the time I could steal time on the exhausting body and soul, I will post some of  me and my family vacation photographs on August 2013 at White Sand Beach, Trenggalek, East Java.
Personally, I love to spend my holiday at the beach, esp. the white sand and clear blue water . There are so many wonderful feelings when you trample your feet on the soft sand. Feel the sands texture trough your skin and feel the water that touch your skin. What an amazing feeling! I can't stop loving the beach. : )

it is a beautiful beach, followed with good infrastructures and pretty good facilities that support the beauty of the beach.

It was my little brother's idea to do this photoshoot pose. hahahaha

OK. Now look at my thighs! they're look big ! hahahaa :D

The photo-shooting was taken in Sam Ratulangi University complex,  Manado.

I am going to tell you the drama-shooting happened this time:

- Begins with a bit of a shouting-match between me and my boyfriend (he woke up late) and took a long time for him to get ready.

- Because of that- the show time begun at 12 NOON and the sun was smiling widely at me. Read: sweat continuously during photo-shooting.

- INSECTS ATTACK!! Begins with red ants (there may be a thousands of them), mosquitoes (there are approximately 10 bite marks on my feet), until unknown insect that bit me to the point that my knee finally swollen and became reddish. : (

Again, all of these "drama" won't stop my intention and determination to do the photo-shooting and presenting this post as an expression of my personal style. Hope you enjoy it, as I am. : )

I Loveeee this dress from body & soul so much.. I bought it about 7 (SEVEN) YEARS AGO! Precisely on Dec 2006.. and I love you for a thousand more year, my dress... you are classic & adorable.

BEAUTIFUL MONSTER (BUT I DON'T MIND)

OK, I think it's not wrong to proclaim myself as a weekly blogger. How not? in a week, it is hard to steal even a "little time" to write a post due to my job. YUP. I'm a banker. FOR NOW.. : (

It seems that I have to send a lot of prayer, that I soon become a daily blogger. AMEN! ; D

Let's get started! 

Have you ever think that sometimes you just want to TRY to wear something that you NEVER thought you'll wear it? Like you really want to try to wear it, but suddenly the BIG question popped right away " Will it fitted me?", Will I fill uncomfortable on that?" or "Will I looks like someone else, NOT me at all?", and so on.. So many bad thoughts fly in your head before you decided to wear some outfits.

Before I decided to wear this outfits, I thought... "Will the floral cardigan fit the black tank top ?" But after I put it on my body, and looked at the mirror, I thought ..."Woow.. I can mix the girly cardigan with the punk tank top without a guilty pleasure!" 

Then I decided to add my favorite DIY ripped jeans on my outfit. With my only one black high heels(wedges) *OK, I just have one black wedges for now. Hope I have another one SOON, so you wont see me on this black wedges for a long..long.. time. get bored and sleepy becoz of it. Hahaha! 

But for now, I think I just have to mix and match all the outfit, footwear and accessories I have, without complaining. 

Have some guts to express your PERSONAL STYLE! as long as you feel comfortable with that, don't waste your time wondering what people say about your style. YOU ARE WHAT YOU WEAR! Life your life by knowing who you are! Have FUN!
